About Brandon
I see myself, along with everyone I meet, as a continuous part of the same universe. That means we’re all in this together.
A decade-long career as a screenwriter and film producer led me from a small town in Michigan to New York City, and ultimately to Los Angeles, where I realized my calling in mental health. This background gives me a firsthand understanding of certain experiences shared by artists, creative professionals, and people on competitive and/or entrepreneurial career paths.
I love nature, music, and stories.
I am a therapist and a client of therapy.
Theoretical Orientation
My approach to therapy — and to life — is curious and reflective, rooted in cultural humility and radical acceptance. I want to know who you are, and I want you to know that it’s okay to show me.
In therapy, I mainly draw from Internal Family Systems, Person-Centered, and Existential theories. What that means for my clients is:
I’m interested in going where you want to go.
I tend to see the mind as made of many parts, each in need of loving self-leadership.
I believe that by stretching our conception of ourselves, both inward and outward, we can realize what we truly are.
